The Cyclist network is the first logistics intervention team in Romania based 100% on volunteers. In the case of an earthquake, the streets get blocked; therefore, the most efficient way to transport supplies is by bike. Cyclists can easily distribute supplies, informative leaflets, and ice to ambulances in crises.

End of sign-ups Post
In these posts, we announced the project, how it works and how people can help. Everyone with a bike in Bucharest was welcome to join, but to do so, they needed to sign up through a Google form, so we would be able to distribute them evenly to different points in the city. After two weeks, on our social media we announced that the sign-up period was over for Round 1. We received 120 applications in 2 weeks, and the project received a very warm welcome.
Visual Identity
The Cyclist Network is an intervention team, which would act after a disaster. Due to the grim circumstances of its activation, we wanted to make the graphics as welcoming and friendly as possible, while also being serious. It needed to motivate cyclists to join the network and not get scared from the get-go.
Group Chat pictures
After we had everyone registered, we distributed them into various groups based on their locations. For each, we made a group chat so people could meet and establish a plan to follow in the case of a disaster.
Earthquake exercise scenario
The Romanian department for emergencies has hosted an exercise scenario which we were asked to participate in. It meant that the cyclist network had the perfect occasion to be put into action.
